Good Old Calhoun County.....

Morning y'all!!

Well, the Calhoun County Wood Festival is officially in full swing!  Now "What does that mean?" some of you may be wondering.  Well, it means a lot of things, but mostly it means that the carnival is in town and if  you go down there you will see people you've not seen since last year, things you may not have wanted to see this year and still other things you hope you never see again!  LOL

But all in all it's a good time.

I went down there with Dave and Esther last night for a little while.  It was really enjoyable!

Esther and I got our pictures taken with a snake.....not the big one, because it weighs over 200 lbs and the people that own him say he's too big, but with the smaller one.  She is a beauty!!  And so lovable!!   I know, there are a bunch of you out there that say SNAKE???   LOVABLE???  But she is.  She loves to be held and petted, and she lets you know it!!

We played BINGO for quite a while. Dave and Esther BOTH called Bingo last night! Several times! NOT ME.....I couldn't win my way out of a paper sack!! But of course I have to act like an idiot!! LOL

There was music on the streets, and people everywhere! It's enjoyable. Tonight will be special to me, my son's band, THE WILL FREED BAND, will be performing! Of course I'm biased, but I think they are awesome!!
